The Maniototo will be rocking out for a good cause later this month.
Ranfurly Dead Rockers Ball will be held at the Ranfurly Town Hall next Saturday.
Dunedin-based swamp band Bulletproof Convertible will be performing — celebrating live music in town halls.
People are encouraged to bring their dancing shoes and to embrace the theme by busting out their grandfather’s suit or their gran’s ball gown.
The event is a community fundraiser for the Maniototo Hospital with money going towards hospital equipment such as beds, a suction unit and a blood pressure monitor.
The night will also include raffles and auctions.
Maniototo Hospital is providing a transport service for the surrounding area to and from the event for a donation to the fundraiser.
This will be the last Dead Rockers Ball for the year.
Previously the Earnscleugh version of the event raised $2500 for the Animal Rehab Centre.
Tickets are available online or from the Ranfurly i-Site.
