A section of Wanaka-Luggate Highway (SH84) will be closed to traffic for four nights next week while crews lay a pipe across the main road.
The new water pipeline is part of a water upgrade project by the Queenstown Lakes District Council.
The pipe will cross the highway and go up Anderson Rd.
The highway will be closed from 8pm until 6am.
The closures are scheduled to start on Monday, September 5 and finish on the morning of Friday, September 9 . A detour will be provided.
The pipeline project should be completed by November and the new pump station by the end of December.
